Tevez re-united

Tevez to be re-United

Carlos Tevez is confident of winning his fitness battle to give Manchester City a huge derby boost. The Argentina striker damaged his knee playing against Brazil last week after a tackle by former City midfielder Elano. Tevez, 25, was expected to be out for three weeks but after sitting out last week's controversial clash with Arsenal, he has made excellent progress. Now he is hoping to get the all-clear to face old club Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.Phil Thomas, The SunThe Sun pays tribute to United's match-winner in Istanbul. The paper says Paul Scholes is "United's very own Duracell battery. He just goes on and on."Most of the daily newspapers make plenty of Wayne Rooney's reaction to being substituted in Turkey. Rooney would likely feel aggrieved at being subbed having scored three in an 8-0 win, and Sir Alex said it was always the plan to save his legs for City on Sunday. "Wayne's never pleased coming off. He has that energy where he wants to play all the time. He played as a lone striker for an hour and it was always the case that he was coming off."
