UNITED v VALENCIA: TICKETS AVAILABLE

Tickets are on general sale for United's pre-season friendly match against Valencia.

The La Liga side will travel to Old Trafford on Wednesday 5 August (KO 20:00) as both sides continue preparing for the new 2009/10 season.

Supporters interested in buying a ticket for the match can book online, by calling 0161 868 8000 or by visiting Ticketing and Membership Services. All junior tickets are priced just £5 for this game and adult prices start from just £15. A £5 discount on adult tickets is available to One United Members. Click here for ticket prices.

Hospitality packages are also available priced £110 + VAT. Book online now or call 0161 868 8000 and select option 2.

The friendly follows July's four-game Asia Tour , and sets Sir Alex Ferguson's side up for the Community Shield clash with Chelsea at Wembley.

BURNLEY AWAY

Apart from the exception of a local derby with Blackburn, the game that fans of newly-promoted Burnley will be relishing most is arguably United at home.

The Clarets have been busy preparing for such challenges with manager Owen Coyle bringing in five new faces so far this summer - including former Reds youngster Richard Eckersley.

United visit Turf Moor in a Barclays Premier League fixture on Wednesday 19 August (KO 19:45) and Executive Members and Season Ticket holders can apply for tickets to this game online or by calling 0161 868 8000 from 08:00 Thursday 23 July through to 20:00 Tuesday 28 July.

Ballot results are then expected to be made available from Tuesday 4 August.

Match ticket allocation and prices will be available in due course.

WIGAN AWAY

New Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has praised his players' effort in training this week despite falling to a 1-0 defeat in his first match in charge.

That defeat came at the weekend as Latics were beaten by Crewe in a friendly but Martinez is firmly looking at the positives in pre-season. The real test will come when the league season starts and they'll come no tougher for the Spaniard than the visit of United on Saturday 22 August (KO 15:00).

Executive Members and Season Ticket holders can make an application for tickets to this game online or by calling 0161 868 8000 from 08:00 Monday 27 July through to 20:00 Friday 31 July.

Ballot results are then expected to be made available from Friday 7 August.

Match ticket allocation and prices will be available in due course.

ARSENAL HOME

It's an August clash for these two old rivals as Arsenal face United at Old Trafford.

Last season's meetings at the Theatre of Dreams resulted in a 1-0 win in the Champions League and 0-0 draw in the league so this could be another closely-fought encounter.

Sir Alex's side play the Gunners on Saturday 29 August (KO 17:15) and One United Members can make an application for this game online or by calling 0161 868 8000 from 08:00 Friday 17 July through to 20:00 on Friday 24 July.

Ballot results are then expected to be made available from Friday 31 July.

Hospitality is also available for this game. Call 0161 868 8000 (option 2) or click here for more information.
